This really might be the best brownie recipe ever! They are really good, and it is a perfect mixture that is easy to make and delivers the best brownies when time is of the essence. You can substitute melted chocolate instead of cocoa powder, if you wish. I make this recipe just like it is. Why would you bother changing something good? However, I add ½ cup of chocolate chips and ¾ of a cup of good roasted pecans!
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Measure and mix together dry ingredients. Mix the wet ingredients in a separate bowl and then combine with the prepared dry ingredients until well blended. Pour into a greased 9x 13 baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until done. Cool completely before cutting.
